The architect’s table

[ furniture project ]

This project is a personal furniture build.

Simplicity in its truest form.

The architect's table transcends traditional furniture definitions. It exemplifies remarkable craftsmanship by ingeniously utilizing materials often deemed inexpensive, transforming them into a stylish and functional piece for showcasing architectural objects or documents.

Designed to be placed on the floor, the table's scale and dynamic presence draw the eye downward, creating a more intimate and cozy atmosphere while preserving an open and airy feel in the room.

Its main structure features two 2x8 boards, with a movable 2x6 board integrated between them. This design choice not only enhances visual interest but also divides the table into two distinct sections, improving both its functionality and overall arrangement.
